Wine list

We have put together a collection of classic grape varieties from the parts of the world where they grow best, with a few personal favourites too.

Not too many twists or surprises, yet!

Prosecco – Some beautifully light and crisp sparkling wines have been produced and this is a fine example.    Imperativo -  5.50 125ml 24.00

Champagne - Despite the fashions Epernay still produces the finest sparkling wine in the world;

Alexandre Bonnet Grand Reserve Brut – Light blossom and citrus scented with fine elegant bubbles and a fruity finish  9.00 125ml  40.00

Gosset Grand Reserve Brut NV- A lesser known Champagne house but quality many professionals rate higher than more popular brands. Expected golden colour for a mature wine, deep toasty, nutty aromas underneath peach, mango and pink grapefruit notes. The full flavour is honey with the bitterness of lemon peel cutting through. A light and refreshing finish. Sweet edge to enjoy with Foie Gras, the light weight texture would suit lobster, the depth of flavour could marry spring Lamb or Veal. 120.00
