Sparkling

Prosecco – Some beautifully light and crisp sparkling wines have been produced and this is a fine example.    Imperativo -  5.50 125ml 24.00

Champagne - Despite the fashions Epernay still produces the finest sparkling wine in the world;

Billecart-Salmon Brut Rose NV- Rivalling the popular rose champagnes on quality however Billecart-Salmon do less self promoting. Flavour combinations of red berries, red stone fruits and hints of citrus create a well-rounded, delightful wine. Expected golden colour for a mature wine, deep toasty, nutty aromas underneath peach, mango and pink grapefruit notes. The full flavour is honey with the bitterness of lemon peel cutting through. A light and refreshing finish. Sweet edge to enjoy with Foie Gras, the light weight texture would suit lobster, the depth of flavour could marry spring Lamb or Veal. 120.00

English Sparkling – There are too many to choose from so we have gone as local as possible;

Ashling Park –This award-winning sparkling is being produced by an independent vineyard in West Ashling. We are proud to be one of the first to feature it on a restaurant list.
